Fisherman’s Cross Necklace

$55.00

The combination of a cross and an ichthus is a profound symbol of Christian faith, merging two of the most enduring emblems of belief. The cross, representing the sacrifice and redemption through Jesus Christ, stands as a beacon of hope and salvation. The ichthus (fish), an ancient symbol used by early Christians during times of persecution, carries a quiet strength and a sense of shared faith. Together, these symbols unite the message of sacrifice and the call to follow Christ, while also evoking a sense of community among believers. This pairing serves as a powerful reminder of God’s love, the promise of salvation, and the courage it takes to live and share one’s faith.

Sterling Silver Fisherman’s Cross necklace

18″ chain

“Come and follow Me, Jesus said, ‘and I will make you fisher’s of men” (Matthew 4:19).

The once secret symbol of Christianity, represented by a simple outline of a fish, hooked around the cross, the Fisherman’s Cross is designed as a daily reminder to go forth boldly, telling others of the kingdom of God as Jesus told Simon (Peter); “Go and proclaim the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:60). “Don’t be afraid, from now on you will catch men!!” (Luke 5:10).
