RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Thank You for shopping at Iron Chinchilla. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Returns For Inventory Items

For all inventory items (such as the wall crosses and jewelry) you will have 30 calendar days from the date of purchase to return an item from the date you received it.

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. – – Your item must be in the original packaging.
  • Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds For Inventory Items

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

Shipping

To return an item, you may send it back via the carrier of your choice.  Or I can send a UPS “call tag” for pick up.  You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.   Any return fees incurred by UPS will be deducted from your refund.

Returns For Furniture and Custom Items

  • Because each piece created by the Iron Chinchilla is handmade and one of a kind, every effort will be made to communicate all aspects of the process with you before, during and after your item is created.  Dimensions, materials, color and fabric choices will be decided before the production begins.  No Payment will be requested until item is ready to ship.
  • Your involvement in the process will be instrumental to designing the perfect piece for your home.  When the design process begins, you have a chance to assess the progress through Hi Resolution photos posted to my Facebook page and e-mailed to you if requested.  If any changes need to be made in the design or dimensions, I will be a phone conversation away.  It is far easier for me to implement changes here in my shop than after it is shipped to you.

Final project approval will be requested via e-mail upon completion of the item.  The final invoice with shipping costs added will be e-mailed to you and Payment in full will be due before item can ship.

Refunds For Furniture and Custom Items

If for any reason you decide to return the item, You will have 30 days to return for a full refund of the Purchase Price only.  Shipping charges are not refundable.

You will be responsible to return the item to The Iron Chinchilla at your own cost.  If help is needed to arrange for parcel or freight pick up of your item, I would be happy to assist.
