Paul tells us in the book of Ephesians that marriage is about submitting to God and His plan for our life as husband and wife…2 persons united in one flesh. Paul goes on to say; ” Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle, but holy and blameless. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and the two will become one flesh.”

The Unity Cross is an illustration of marriage through the eyes of our creator; the joined hearts resting on the cross signify our unity in marriage and our submission to Christ and his teachings, leaving us open to receive His Blessings!
