For centuries the Dragonfly has amazed and mystified its admirers with it bright colors and graceful flight. Many believe the dragonfly to be the spirit of a friend or relative that has passed, or as an agent of change and good luck. With this piece, I have paired the Dragonfly with the Cross to signify the life changing role Jesus plays in our lives through his sacrifice for us. And yet another reminder that we are forgiven and never truly alone.
The cross measures roughly 16″ x 9″ but as it is a handmade item the size may vary. The Dragonfly is tempered with heat to achieve the subtle blue/purple/gold color combination or hand painted with a number of transparent colors, making each piece unique.
This version is a wall hanging but a mantle version is available upon request.
