The symbolism of the vine is referenced throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, most notably in John 15 when Jesus says to his disciples: 5 “I am the Vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” – By comparison, the Hummingbird is not mentioned even one time in scripture, yet it is an example of God as a creator. The features of the Hummingbird would have to work perfectly from the beginning for it to survive. A tiny sweet bird of joy and a beautiful symbol of courage and determination, with its spirited energy and iridescent colors that seem to appear from out of nowhere…sparking joy in the heart! The Hummingbird is truly one of God’s great miracles!
